Affectionately called “P.B.” by locals, the iconic seaside town of Pacific Beach is home to over three miles of boardwalk, a well-established nightlife scene, and gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. A favorite surfing haunt, this beach community has matured over the years, and also now attracts an older crowd, ranging from professionals to the semi-retired. This scenic oceanfront neighborhood has retained its vibrant and funky atmosphere, however, and continues to draw more and more people to its shores every year.
Pacific Beach is tucked comfortably among the communities of La Jolla, Clairemont Mesa, Mission Bay Park, and Mission Beach. Interstate 5 borders the neighborhood to the east. Dramatic coastal bluffs and steep hillsides complete the picture of Pacific Beach as a picturesque beachfront enclave.
